The Motability One Big Day was back with a bang on Saturday 24th June. We've missed the being part of the event for the past few years, it was last in Northern Ireland way back in 2018!
Held in the spacious Eikon exhibition centre, Lisburn (just a short drive from our showroom) the event had a wide variety of vehicles, mobility scooters and power chairs available on the Motability Scheme. The Motability scheme gives users a new vehicle, scooter or powerchair every 3 years under their lease programme. The Motability lease includes extra peace of mind with worry-free servicing, repairs and insurance. The Motability programe works with the Department of Work & Pensions; a portion of your Disability Allowance or PIP is paid to Motability to cover the cost of your new powered wheelchair or mobility scooter and the remainder issued to you as your usual payments.
Ann & Sam were working in partnership with Electric Mobility and their range of Rascal mobility scooters, and Francis was with the team from Quantum Rehab showcasing a selection of powerchairs, all options as a Motability user.
Sam also had a very special visitor, we'll give you a few clues - he's always jolly, his job is very seasonal and he has an extensive list of names and behaviour...

With the VelumiLi, every detail makes a statement...Our lightest Rascal ever at just 28.8kg* plus 2 Year Warranty on both the scooter & the British Made Lithium Ferro-Phosphate Battery Pack for peace of mind. Lightweight, transportable scooter with Lithium Ferro-Phosphate Battery, this small but mighty 4mph is great value for money.
