John Preston & Company are a leading supplier of homecare, medical & mobility equipment throughout the UK & Ireland. We are an establised contracted supplier of capital and consumables to the Health & Social Care sectors in UK and Ireland with solutions for both primary and secondary care.   We hold contracts for supply of capital and consumable products including medical devices, diagnostic & measuring equipment, medical consumables, PPE, examination gowns, toiletries and patient hygiene products, cleaning consumables, physiotherapy & rehabilitation aids, community aids & appliances, specialist seating, continence care, homecare and mobility products. We are also a contract supplier to the education sector, forestry commission, & local authorities with portfolios including feminine hygiene products for the period dignity schemes, SEN products & medical and first aid supplies to the education sectors in Ireland and Scotland. 

We supply industry-leading homecare, mobility, rehabilitation and medical products to healthcare professionals, care Homes, local authorities as well as private retail customers at our showrooms in Lisburn, Northern Ireland & Loanhead, Scotland or through our online store. We are winners of the Donald Blatchford Retailer of the Year Award and are ISO 9001 Certified. We are an active member of the British Healthcare Trades Association and committed to their code of practice.

A sixth-generation family business since 1846, we are proud of our heritage.In 2011 we acquired Fast-Aid Products Ltd who have been trading in Scotland since 1974 and have a showroom in Loanhead, Edinburgh.

We are experts in ensuring you or your client get exactly the equipment you need and can provide free of charge assessments and demonstrations. We have a vast range of products including Homecare and healthcare solutions, medical supplies, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, riser recliners and specialist seating, paediatric mobility aids & more.

For prescriptive, made to measure products we will arrange for one of our product specialists to meet with you at one of our showrooms to ensure your needs are correctly assessed and appropriate products are supplied. We also welcome accompanied visits from Occupational Therapist and other professionals.
