This innovative product helps you move patients with limited mobility between beds, chairs and wheelchairs. It reduces the physical strain on nurses or Healthcare professionals when the patient needs support or needs to turn. The improved features of the new Rotunda Transfer Platform have been made after feedback from Healthcare professionals.

The turntable platform swivels into five different positions and can be locked in place where suitable.

The new Rotunda Transfer Platform model lots of new design advancements from the previous model including;

1)      New Larger wheels, easier to manoeuvre on carpet where it used to be cumbersome.

2)      New design on base plate to mount the larger wheels.

3)      New Base plate out riggers design changed and now stronger.

4)      New PTFE skid on the front outrigger making it glide across carpet where it used to dig in.

5)      New turntable plate design so now the Rotunda is 2 kg lighter.

6)      New Turn Table Locking position indicators on the top and bottom plates.

7)      New Foot guard……attention health and safety, do’s and don’ts and instructions for use graphics.

8)      New non slip mat , with foot print outline for visually impaired people.

9)      New polyurethane moulded knee support, easy clean.

10)  New 3 handle grips on the top loop this will help visually impaired patients with hand placement.

11)  New easy clean handle grips.

The maximum user weight is 250kg and there is a host of accessories available including;

  • Knee padding supports
  • Platform raising Block 3" (75mm)
  • Platform raising Block 5" (127mm)
  • High Frame, maximum 6" (150mm)
  • Footguard
  • Gutter Support Vertical Handles
  • Extra Wide Frame - increases the internal width to 20" (50.8cm) but total width remains narrow enough to fit through a British Standard size doorway
