Firefly wheelchair power attachment

The Firefly is an electric power add on that attaches to the front of most rigid frame wheelchairs and even some folding models of manual wheelchairs.

E Dragonfly manual / power handcycle wheelchair attachment

This is the hybrid model of the Firefly so it can be powered manually using the hand cycle option, or powered using the battery! This is the best option for those who want to increase their exercise levels but just might need a break from time to time! The manual hand cycle is geared just like a normal bike and the whole unit can be clipped on to a wheelchair very easily.

The hybrid model is called the E Dragonfly and there is also a purely manual option called the Dragonfly - see it here.

ATTO Folding Mobility Scooter - unlike anything else available

The ATTO folding mobility scooter is an incredible bit of technology and unlike any other scooter available. It folds up to the size of a luggage case and also splits in two making it very easy to lift into the boot of your car! It looks modern and contemporary and is also approved for airline travel so you can bring it on holidays with you. The folding and unfolding sequence is very straight forward but for some people with weaker wrists or arms it might be a little challenging - this is why we offer a free home demonstration service to let you try it beforehand. It offers great convenience but not too much postural support although armrests are available as an optional accessory.

Folding electric wheelchairs for when you need it

Folding electric wheelchairs offer you the chance to bring a powered wheelchair with you in the boot of the car if leaving the house.

Many models are 23kg or under so are manageable but we can also help advise about the requirement for a ramp or boot hoist to make life even easier. We offer folding electric wheelchairs that are approved for airline travel so you can bring yours on holiday!

There are a few important things to consider when researching what is right for you;

• Who will lift this in and our of the car?
• Where do you want to go? - e.g. terrain and very steep hills
• Do you want to travel abroad with it?
• Do you need any additional postural support?
• Where will you store this at home?

Many of our customers avoid looking at such products but the feedback we receive is incredible - people can enjoy getting out with the family or walk the dog etc. You can look at models that fold manually very easily or one that opens and closes automatically by pushing one button

Lightweight folding manual wheelchairs

We supply lightweight active wheelchairs that are easy to manage in and out of the car - and it will be made to measure just for you.

The Quickie Life model is a good entry level model that has excellent build quality and has options to fold so it can be stored more easily.

These types of wheelchair will be more expensive that 'off the shelf' models but not by too much - and you will have something bespoke to you.

Our Product Specialists offer a measuring service and then normally your wheelchair will be ready within 6 weeks.
