Warm Welcomes

Our new team member Conor McKinley joined us as our Seating Specialist.

Conor looks after our adult specialist seating, moving and handling and shower chairs.  Conor provides a joint assessment service throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. His portfolio includings Careflex, Configura, Mercado, Ergochair, Osprey, Mangar, Molift, Stabilo, Burnett, Oxford and many more market leading brands.  Conor has a background in urology medical devices having completed a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MPhil Biology At Queens University.

John Preston Exhibitions

We exhibited at Kidz to Adultz Middle in Coventry on 14th March. A great day meeting with kids and families, OTs and other healthcare professionals demonstrating some of our best selling paediatric mobility, rehab and lifestyle products. Our England-based engineer Phil was there with us, Phil is your contact for demonstrations and servicing across the midlands.

New Products

We've added a LOT of new products to our website and showroom portfolios from recumbent trikes to super affordable powerchairs. We have greatly expanded our all ability cycling and disabled sports categories with the full range of special needs and adult trikes from Tomcat, broadened our selection of Hase of recumbent trikes and companion cycles and introduced RAD Innovations and their selection of running frames. Let's take a closer look.

RAD Innovations Running Frames

Frame Running (also known as RaceRunning) has been a recreational and competitive sport in Scandinavia for the past 20 years. Running frames are frequently used by children and adults with cerebral palsy (CP), Parkinson’s, stroke, spinal cord injuries (SCI), muscular dystrophy, or general balance and mobility challenges to propel themselves on their own. We proudly welcome RAD Innovations running frames to our product offering and look forward to introducing them to our customers. 

Tomcat Adult Trikes

We have provided Tomcat trikes to kids and young adults across Ireland for many years but we had not included the full selection of trikes for adult riders. We expanded our listings to include the entire range, including the new Electric Flame Trike and Electric Flare Hand Propelled Trikes.

Hase Delta Trikes & Companion Cycles

We now offer all of Hase's trikes, e-trikes and companion cycles. From recumbent tricycles, electric powered off road trikes or dual rider tandem style bikes, Hase's dynamic and modern approach to all ability cycling is a refreshing and exciting addition to John Preston.

Ezi-Fold Traveller

 

An ultra lightweight (less than 15kg) folding electric wheelchair at the very affordable price of £1495 ex VAT, the new Ezi-Fold Traveller from Monarch Mobility is a nippy and comfortable option. Boasting an 8km range, the Traveller is ideal for getting around the house with its tight turning circle and neat profile. It also has the option of attendant controls for additional assistance when out and about. 

Flexyfoot Kids Crutches

We have been FlexyFoot advocates for many years now and have expanded our listings to include their children's crutches and walking sticks. These comfortable and colourful walking aids have the innovative FlexyFoot ferrule offering enhanced shock absorption, but now in sizes to suit kids and teens.

A little notice of our upcoming Easter holidays; our Lisburn office & showroom will be closed Good Friday, Easter Monday & Tuesday. We reopen on Wednesday 3rd April 2024.
